211 SPECIALIST
The Contra Costa Crisis Center is the authorized 211 provider in Contra Costa County, California. 211 is the national, toll-free, three-digit phone number to call 24 hours a day for information about local health and social services. 211 also is the number that people call after a disaster, off-loading non-emergency calls from 911.
We’re interested in hiring a person with strong customer service skills—especially over the phone—to be one of our 211 call specialists. The successful candidate must be fully bilingual (English-Spanish). A college degree is preferred.
The position is full time, 9 a.m. to 5 .m. Monday to Friday, and is based at our offices in Walnut Creek. We have a supportive, team-oriented environment where differences of ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, gender, physical ability, and age are valued and appreciated.
