Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for people who are grieving the death of a significant other.
The Crisis Center offers support and education to help people develop coping skills to better handle their loss.

The Crisis On-site Mobile Grief Response Team provides a rapid, field-based response for grief counseling at schools and businesses.
We provide support to youths and adults mourning a death, bereaved or affected by the traumatic loss through suicide, homicide, or sudden loss.
Bereavement support groups currently meet at the Crisis Center in Walnut Creek for survivors after suicide loss, parents who have lost children, spouses and partners loss, and family and friends loss. Group support is facilitated by trained volunteers. No one should have to face loss alone.

Portraits of Hope is a voluntary program for our grief program participants and is free of charge. To participate in the program please complete the form.
